The Zoo Maniac
I (Joel) am working in a little coffeeshop in Jacksonville Beach. My Zoo Maniac friend waltzes in with her camo pants with embellished silver belt, a jean jacket two sizes too small, belly shirt and hideous wedges. She approached the 50 cent trinket machine and pulls out her plastic grocery bag. She gets off to a rough start and is unable to make her first trinket purchase due to jammed quarters....

A Coffee House, A Coffee Home
OK Kids, settle in for a story. Upon reaching our maximum absorption point for Jacksonville Beach and its Carnival of Lost Souls, (I was literally followed by a scooter with two creepy teens on it for an hour while on a walk…) we hit town last Thursday morning to seek refuge in the college town of Gainesville, FL.
Now the path to this town, as I remember from visiting my best friend Marcie...
Satchel's Pizza
We had an amazingly delicious lunch at Satchel’s in Gainesville the other day. It is a pizza joint. We kept it simple with a medium cheese pizza and a side of their special dressing for crust dippin’.
There is a Junk Museum behind Satchel’s. A fun store with a lounge where you can eat pizza and watch live music on the weekend.

New Bikes!
OK Kids…so about 40 minutes into our initial departure from Ann Arbor back in mid October, the weld to our bike rack system on the back of the Burrow broke, sending our beloved bicycles hurdling towards an unsuspecting SUV in a “fireball of sparks”(the exact quote from the driver)…
Our bikes were instantly crumpled and we were forced to drag them down the highway to where...
