The Secret Beach
Just south of Santa Barbara we shimmied through a storm drain under the 101 to share a coconut cocktail. Then we split it open on the rocks and scraped it’s meat out with our bottom teeth. Barbaric and exciting!

The Avocado Tree
In the backyard of our good friends Jeff and Leah lives an avocado tree. At first we thought it was free of any fruit, but as we looked closer we saw the pear-shaped green gems hiding under the longish leaves. Rigging up a retrieval system was Jeff’s big idea and soon we had a saw duct-taped to a long piece of wooden trim. The AvoCutter 2000 was born. Joel soon joined in as we gleaned 9...

The Apache House
Our stop in Norman, Oklahoma introduced us to a collaborative called The Apache House. We attended the packed house of the art opening noted above. We ran into one of the collaborators, Tate James, later in the week and were able to share about each others latest creations. We were just featured on The Apache House Blog were you can see all things wonderful going on in Norman and beyond.
